This class was created for men who would like to try yoga in a small and sweat pant friendly environment. No experience is required, really. Our focus will be on stretching the muscles around the hips and low back to increase mobility and then adding in some yoga poses to strengthen the core. This class will include savasana (code for yoga nap).

Hōm Improvement
Take care of your body, it’s where you live. - J.Rohn

A class formulated from my experience as an RMT + yoga teacher. It’s a cleverly concocted combo of massage,  yoga based movement + meditation.  We use blocks, straps, foam rollers, YTU balls  (+maybe even hot stones) to bolster our body awareness.

Farmer’s Market Flow
A vinyasa class to start your weekend off on the right (and left) foot. Held on Saturday mornings, we will explore some YTU self-massage techniques and move into a balanced flow of strength + stability.  Class ends with a guided relaxation practice. Beginners are welcome.  

Smells like Teen Spirit Nirvana Flow
An after-school yoga and mindfulness practice for teens. This small class setting provides an opportunity for teenagers to add movement into their daily routine and try some curated mindfulness practices. 

The Shoulder Sessions
A YTU based yoga class for anyone with shoulder +/or upper back issues. We fill in the gap between treatment and homecare. This class explores anatomy, self-massage and strength of the rotator cuff muscles over a 6 week session.  All equipment is provided.
